Okay, I dont know how many times Ive uploaded a review on a product or touched base on how to set up certain products and even the simplicity of how to set up a hookah properly. A couple of weeks ago one of my partners came over to work and we shared hookah. He couldnt stop talking about how amazing the smoke and flavor was in my hookah. I asked him what was so different and he stated that one of his friends has a hookah and they smoke all the time and the sessions are terrible. That night I gave him some pointers on how to make a great session from that night forward. One dont over pack your bowl. If you have nowhere for the air to travel thru the bowl then you arent going to get any smoke and you are just going to burn up your shisha. Second poke lots of holes in your foil but not too many. Too much airflow will give you thin smoke that will not have much flavor. Three is where the coal is. Make sure you dont pile too much coal on your bowl. There are bowls ranging from two grams capacity to two hundred grams capacity. Yes I said two hundred but you probrably wont see a bowl that big unless you have a seven foot tall hookah, and yes there are seven foot hookahs out there. If you pile too much charcoal on your bowl you are just going to burn the shisha and flavor right out of your hookah. Maintain an even heat across your bowl for a good smoke and flavor. This means sometimes you need to stirr coal across the bowl to keep it heated evenly. Last tip, this is where his friend fails as a hookah smoker, clean your hookah and change your water. I dont know how many people I have seen that do not clean their hookah and do not change the water. If you dont have clean water its going to make your session taste worse than the last. Stagnant water and a stagnant pipe can only lead to a stagnant flavored smoke. Also try running a little water thru your hose before a session to knock out any sediment or junk from your last session. Remember smoking hookah is not just an interesting past time, its a science so do some research before you smoke. Well I hope these tips have helped you save your next session from failure. Why should you watch my reviews? Let me tell you how I set up for all my reveiws. Ok lets start from the beginning. As soon as I open the package of products Im going to review I set them all out on the counter and I take a minute to look at them all and take in my first reaction to them just sitting there. Are the hookahs attractive? Do the packages of charcoal and shisha look appealing? Next I go onto the setup of each hookah, how long does it take? How long is it going to take to clean them and take them apart? I’ll put them together and take them apart so I can see if there is anything different about setting the hookahs up maybe if there is something that will effect the hookah if you dont set it up properly things like that. The next thing I do is open the shisha to check to see what it smells like and the color and how wet it is. I smell the package to see how strong the flavor is and if it smells thru the packaging. The next thing to do is test the charcoal, how long does it take to set up, how long between flips while its heating up, does it hold together well and how much ash there is. Finally I take all the products and I sit down and test them and use them a few times before I review them. I also look online to see other people’s opinions on the products. The web has a lot of negative feedback on a lot of products that arent set up quite right and I try to talk about that in the review if thats the case. Finally, I dont just throw the stuff together and do a review and expect you to buy what I talk about. There are a lot of pauses in my reviews because I dont write a script. I write down key things that I want to touch base on and I review the products from the heart. Why should you watch my reivews? Last month I did a review on a new hookah that I really enjoy and it also has a Valentines Day theme. Okay its not exactly what you would think of when you put hookah and Valentines Day together but its close enough. This hookah is called the Purple Modern Art hookah. I opened the package and was amazed by it, I mean my other hookahs are nothing like this one. Yeah I have a couple that are really specail to me but all of them are nothing like this hookah. I mean they are your typical hookah with an ash tray and a nice body and base but this one has a specific design unlike the rest. I wanted to talk about this hookah today because it reminds me a lot of Valentines Day. Why a hookah you may ask? Because its got little hearts on it. The tassle hanging from the shaft has beads that come down to a heart at the bottom. Ive seen hookahs that are shaped like dragons and skulls but this is a hookah I feel like I can use when I want to be intimate with my significant other. My wife enjoys smoking hookah with me in our spare time and this hookah is one that I feel that I can share with her that isnt so manly or so typical that it kills the mood. Another plus is that its a medium sized hookah so we wont fight over it when it comes to smoking. I like to use a medium to large hookah when sharing a session. Girls if your guy is into hookah and you want to find him a great Valentines Day present and want to share it with him here is one way to go. Guys if you want to share something specail with your lady and want her to get in on your hookah action this would be a great subtle way to show you that she can have it her way too. Asking me how I like to smoke really isnt that difficult of a question to answer. Lately I havent been able to smoke like I would like to. I like smoking with friends as a social smoking atmosphere and I also like to smoke when I wind down from a long day at work. Lately my friends have been busy with work and I have just been so busy with work and the holidays that I havent had much time to smoke. The positive aspect of me not being able to smoke is the fact that my tolerance will go down and I will start getting that nicotine buzz faster and easier than I have been lately. You see when you smoke frequently and in high amounts you build up this tolerance for the nicotine where you dont get such a rush from the buzz. Now that my tolerance is down I can smoke me a tasty bowl of shisha and ride the buzz out instead of waiting and hoping that I can find my buzz. Most of the time I dont get a buzz unless I smoke 2 bowls of shisha and that takes about 2 to 2 and a half hours. My favorite flavors are watermelon, melon, strawberry, and anything sweet really. Im not the type of smoker that really likes mint. Mint is okay from time to time but it is so hard to clean that flavor out of your pipe and hose. Usually after you smoke mint flavors they stick around in your pipe causing all the flavors you smoke after that to have a mint flavor as well and this I just do not like.
